Jenica Rayne is a poet of consequence, an advocate of social and personal change.

Born in the picturesque village of Picton, on the shores of Lake Ontario, Canada Jenica has lived near water all her life. As an adult she moved to the west coast, living in Vancouver and the Gulf Islands for more than a decade. She now calls Kingston, Ontario, her home.

She is a graduate of theVancouver Island University Jazz program in Nanaimo BC.

Jenica's discography includes 3 critically acclaimed CD's: Hall of Memories in 1999, Essential Elements in 2004 produced by Simon Kendall and Live Rayne in 2007 which she self produced. She has written and recorded with her band Calamity Janes and is currently gearing up for another solo release.
